This game was hard on the eyes, ears, and stomach.

Eyes - The players wore plaid jerseys similiar to those seen in Admirals TV commercials from about 10 years ago starring Bob Uecker. Winnipeg's newspaper article on the game described them as being "hideous". Decide for yourself.

Ears - The first 5000 fans received cheer sticks.

Stomach - After securing leads of 4-0 and 5-1, Pepto Bismol was needed after Milwaukee led by only one goal late in the game.

A hat trick by Chris Durno helped seal the contest with a 7-4 final score. Former Admiral netminder Wade Flaherty lasted only one period, surrendering 3 goals, but ended up with more saves (11-7) than his counterpart Maxime Ouellet, who played the final 40 minutes.
