Pregame concerts by The Wreckers and Emerson Drive provided a crowd of over 10,000 to see this game. With a 1-1 score going into the third period... Cal O'Reilly and Rich Peverley scored to make it 3-1 with less than 5 minutes remaining. Peoria's Konstantin Zakharov scored to make the last few minutes a little tense, but the Admirals prevailed 3-2.
I forgot my ticket at home, so I ended up shelling out another $17 and ended up sitting in the second row of 213... squeezed in like a sardine and subjected to a loud group of a-holes, who knew little about hockey and hollered insults at the Milwaukee players. The score was 0-0, yet you'd think we were down 10-0 by the way they were carrying on. I stayed as long as I could, but eventually I moved to another section.
