vs. San Antonio Rampage
at the SBC Center
Due to heavy snowfall across the upper midwest and northeast, airline traffic was delayed considerably, causing the Admirals a headache to get to San Antonio less than 24 hours after playing at home the night before. They made it in time, but the team was reportedly drained from the ordeal.

This was the third of four meetings between these teams in eight days. Milwaukee won the first two at home this past week and play the Rampage a fourth time on Wednesday the 26th.

For the third straight game, the Admirals missed defenseman Dan Hamhuis, who is at a funeral for a death in the family. Otherwise, the team is only missing an injured Libor Pivko. Chris Minard and Paul Brown were sent down to the ECHL this week as the Milwaukee roster continues to get healthy after an ugly December.

Milwaukee backup goaltender Seamus Kotyk played three full periods for the first time since December 23 and made his first start since December 27.

The Admirals outshot San Antonio 13-2 in the first period, but came away tied 1-1 after 20 minutes. Lukas Krajicek scored first for the Rampage, but Vern Fiddler answered 31 seconds later to tie it up.

Gregory Campbell's second period goal and Joel Kwiatkowski's third period goal sealed up the win for the Rampage. Admiral-killer Travis Scott saved 34 shots to earn the win.

This was the first game all season that Milwaukee did not have to defend a power play. The only penalties against Milwaukee were matching minors. The Admirals were 0-for-2 on the power play.
