Game Summaries Jan. 20, 2005 vs. San Antonio Rampage at the Bradley Center A couple of inches of snowfall kept the crowd down on this weeknight game. The Admirals faced San Antonio two nights after beating them 4-2. The game started with an unusual event - penalties called before the opening faceoff. Vern Fiddler and Gregory Campbell were sent off with matching roughing penalties. Announcer Matt Moore seemed thrown off having to say the penalties were at the 'zero minute mark of the first period'. Bryan Lundbohm, who scored against the Rampage two nights ago for his first goal of the year, scored again in what turned out to be the game winner early in the first period. Wyatt Smith and Tony Hrkac added goals before Travis Scott was pulled from the Rampage goal early in the second period. Backup goalie Patrick DesRochers saw his first action of the season against Milwaukee after Scott played in the first six meetings. The thing that I'll remember about DesRochers is that when on the bench, he doesn't sit on the end of the bench where the backup goalies usually sit out of the way of their teammates. Instead, he stands throughout the game on the opposite side of the bench manning the door near the red line. Greg Zanon scored his second of the season in the third period capping off a 4-0 victory. Brian Finley stopped 25 shots for his 4th shutout of the season.
