Game Summaries Jan. 8, 2005 vs. Houston Aeros at the Bradley Center After disposing of Chicago the night before, the Admirals hosted a rested Houston team with a 1:30pm faceoff. By looking at the pregame warmup, I thought this was going to be an ugly game. Several players exchanged words at the red line... thinking of why this would be, I remembered that Jordin Tootoo was suspended for intent to injure a player in the last meeting between these two teams in Houston. With exception of one heated exchange in the second period which sent 5 players to the box, the game was fairly tame. The Admirals played a solid defensive game, keeping the Aeros in the corners and along the boards. Goals by Simon Gamache and Wyatt Smith were all that was needed to pickup the win. Brian Finley recorded his third shutout of the season.
