After a cautious first period, both teams opened things up in the second period. Goals by Simon Gamache and Tony Hrkac kept the score tied at 2 after 40 minutes. Wyatt Smith's third period goal turned out to be the game winner as Chicago's power play unit was unable to tie it in the closing minutes of the game. I sat behind the Houston Aeros coaching staff for much of the game. They arrived to Milwaukee a day before having to play against the Admirals. All the notes they took didn't make a difference in the next day's game.
