- Pierre Allard scored the first IHL goal for the Admirals on October 21 vs. Muskegon
- Pete Peeters recorded the first shutout in the IHL by the Admirals on December 11.
- The following season, the first ever Admiral players to advance their career to play in the NHL were Pete Peeters, Michel Lachance, Yves Preston, and Danny Clark
