This is my first time doing this and is mostly for my benefit, but I figured I'd share it with you.Other notable achievements
- Libor Pivko scored his first North American goal on October 10
- Rookie Timofei Shishkanov scored his first pro goal on October 15
- Reserve goaltender Greg Hewitt recorded his first AHL victory on December 30
- Rookie Brandon Segal scored his first pro goal on January 17
- Rookie Greg Zanon scored his first pro goal on January 28
- Tony Hrkac recorded his 900th career point on February 7
- The Admirals won their 1000th IHL/AHL game on February 20
- Goaltender Brian Finley tied the team record for consecutive wins (10) on February 28
- Brad Tiley recorded his 500th career point on February 28th against Philadelphia, in the same game former Admiral John Slaney acheived the same milestone.
- Timofei Shishkanov won the AHL Rookie of the Month for February
- The Admirals achieved the best record in the AHL on March 12
- Wade Flaherty won for the 200th time in his career on March 12
- Wade Flaherty was named the Admirals Man of the Year on March 30
- Timofei Shishkanov was named to the AHL's All Rookie Team on March 31
- Wade Flaherty surrendered the first pro goal of Grand Rapids rookie Eric Himelfarb on March 31

- The team finished with the best record in the league for the first time in team history, and won the division crown for the first time since 1996.
- The team led the league in scoring with 269 goals. They scored 100 of the goals in the third period, more than any other team.
- Curtis Murphy's +/- rating of +40 led the AHL, and was the highest in the AHL since 1995. He also led all AHL defensemen in scoring with 53 points (17g 36a).
